Panama is world-famous for its 48-mile canal that connects the Pacific Ocean with the Atlantic Ocean

Program:

This tour starts with a visit to Panama La Vieja. Walk through the first city founded by the Spaniards in the Pacific. Go inside the beautiful museum and learn about Panama’s rich history. The journey counties through the city’s financial district by Punta Paitilla and Balboa Avenue, and then to the historic center. Also included in this visit is Plaza de la Independencia, Metropolitan Cathedral, Plaza de Francia, Bóvedas and Plaza Bolívar. Optional lunch will be offered at a local restaurant.

After lunch, we carry on to the Miraflores locks and its new Visitor Center, where you can see the Panama Canal. Bask in the precious views of the 48-mile Panama Canal that connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. See the moving ships passing by and take advantage of the high-level audio-visual technology that explains the operation of the canal.

The tour concludes with a visit to Albrook: former military base, and current residential-commercial area. Visit the Administration Building Balboa, the Port, and last but not least, Causeway. (Now the most popular touristic area). After this we head back to the hotel.
